I have wired my detached garage from a dedicated supply in the adjacent house consumer unit. I was hoping initially that the work could be inspected and tested by a qualified electrician and part P issued. Apparently it does not happen like that. I am stuck now and need advice as how to proceed with getting my garage powered.
