I have a medium sized tree in my garden which I want removed. How do I find out if the roots of the tree extend into my neighbours garden? The potential for shrinking or swelling clay ground was raised as a moderate stability hazard risk in our property report. Could the tree still be removed or is it best to leave it alone?
