I have a broken window handle. It requires some fine welding to fix/join the broken handle base so that I can then close the affected window securely.

    Olivemead Forge Traditional Blacksmiths, posted on Tuesday 1 July 2014 Hello Terry, unless the latch is made from steel welding will not work. In most cases latches today are either an alloy of some description or cast iron, in both cases welding is not an option. I'm afraid the only option is to buy a new one. regards John Olivemead Forge
