My mother needs support with all physical activities (maximum distance she can walk with her zimmer frame is approx 20 feet - i.e. the distance to her toilet), plus she is partially sighted. At this moment in time she needs no continuous nursing care. We are looking for a home that will allow her the freedom to eat all meals in her own room and sleep in her chair rather than a bed. A toilet/basin facility in her room would be essential. My mother is currently self funding but her funds are reaching the limit in May/June 2015. We sadly need to move her to a home that will take council rates.
