We need you to dig down a narrow channel at the rear of the property wall (approx. 6 to 8 ft feet deep and approx. 12ft long) to expose the back wall of where a chimney breast was removed. It may be necessary to replace some stonework and then put a new waterproof barrier in place to stop damp getting into the toilet walls that adjoin this boundary building wall at this lower level. It will also be necessary to replace some blockwork in the toilet that was removed for investigation purposes. The inside walls will then need to be re-plastered and decorated to finish.
