In late fifties and have had minor bunions all my adult life, over the last 12 months I have had a new job as a shop assistant and accordingly have been on my feet for long periods of time. Could do with a consultation about what is the best course of action with regard to footwear and possibly orthotics (?). I have been wearing toe spacers and, recently, arch supports bought cheaply from a chemist. I am however having a lot of pain in my feet (as well as my lower back and hips - don't know whether that is significant). I was wondering how much a consultation might be and the availability.
