Old Ransomes' Marquis lawn motor with 3HP Briggs & Stratton 4 stroke patrol engine Model 80232, Type 9878-01. Had been working fine 10 days ago. Wouldn't start. New spark plug fitted - spark present. No change. Removed petrol tank & carburetor - stripped down both and cleaned through with air hose. Re-assembled and started first pull - ran for less than 15 seconds. Would not restart. Left overnight, started 1st pull this morning & ran for 20 seconds. Stopped & unable to restart. Seems like severe petrol starvation? Can you help please? Will bring mower to you within one hour of response.
