I am 62 and retired on a low income - very painful right wrist - NHSBC have messed me about for 9 months - told today I may have arthritis in the wrist and also looks like I have a dead lunar bone due to necrosis. seeing OT tomorrow for a custom built splint. Can't have steroid injection into joint as have a heart problem - plus NHS is defensive now after Iadelaide a complaint. all I want to do is maximise what I can do to prevent further deterioration - or slow it down - was told today by consultant that the condition is irreversible and I need to accept this - and then told to see my GP for antidepressants as I was upset. my whole life is my garden and handicrafts which rely on the use of this my leading hand.
