I have a long haired Tom cat who is around 13 years old he used to be able to clean /groom himself but since the snow just gone his gud across his back has become extremely matted and seems go be getting worse I have tried special cat shampoo and have tried combing it out but doesn't seem to be working don't want to try and cut this myself in case accidently injure him think he may need shaving but not sure need help.
