We have a small field to the front of our property (approx. 250 ft). We need some drainage for this ideally in the form of a gulley dug at the top of the field and then another gulley filled with stone chippings to carry the water out at the bottom of the field. The field is on a downward slope. We believe the excess water to be caused by a spring in our back garden, going under the house and then straight down the field. As we graze our Alpacas on this field we need to do something to alleviate the lack of drainage.
