I own a small silver and jewellery shop in Edinburgh. I am planning on hand carrying Silver and semi precious stone jewellery from India into the uk for retail purposes. Usually I use a currier who will process the customs declaration for me but this time I have a number of small quantities of finished jewellery and also unstrung semi precious beads with me. I have used an EORI number once before many years ago but it appears no longer valid when I checked. I am Vat registered and have applied for validation with HMRC. The total value of goods is around £7000. There are 6 separate lots from different suppliers, two are beads, the rest semi precious stones set in Silver.
