Hi, I need an engine steam cleaning for a Renault Megane Reg 2005 to diagnose a bad oil leak, please. It has to be done by Saturday 11 am by someone who is experienced in this operation, as I am taking the car to the service at 12. I can smell petrol in the car when the air conditioning is on. Thank you.

Where are you carrying on this operation and how? Could you give me a quotation for when the weather will improve and do you offer any guarantees? Many thanks, Elena. - OCD Pro Detail, posted on Thursday 1 March 2018 Hi there, Unfortunately we won’t be able to help you on this occasion because of the tight time frame provided. OCD Pro Detail, posted on Friday 2 March 2018 Hi there, Yes, i carried out many successful engine bay details myself and because i am a mobile service i do all my services at the customer’s home. There is no guarantee with this service because i am not a mechanic and i can’t tell if there was a fault beforehand. This service is done at customer’s risk and i take no liability. However, i always follow the correct procedures doing any detail and especially when it comes to engine bay and i would say most of experienced mobile detailers will do and that is to cover any electric components and cover the alternator and use free flowing water or a steamer and no pressure washing and if there is pressure washing then it must be within a reasonable distance away from the engine bay and always use common sense. My engine bay detail starts from £50 depending on condition and i have to see it first to give you a final say. Many thanks, and i hope i was helpful and answered all of your questions. Cheers, George.
