To whom it may concern, I work for a charity called JustDifferent. We’re looking to hold a fundraising event over a day and night. During the day we want to hold a family fun day and in the evening a band night with karaoke and a charity auction. JustDifferent is currently only based in the south and I am the newly appointed regional manager for the north. We have spoken to over 250000 children in the south and created positive change, my vision is to help in the north. With the money generated from the fundraisers we hope to visit schools, business and communities free of charge to deliver workshops educating people on disabilities and anti bullying campaigns. Local funding has been cut, unfortunately schools and local organisations don’t have the budgets to pay for the workshops that make a huge difference. JustDifferent was launched in 2008 to make a positive difference to the lives of disabled and non-disabled people. We provide innovative, exciting and educational Workshops. We challenge outdated and often uninformed perceptions of disability and difference. Our workshops are designed to engage children and young people into thinking more imaginatively about the world they live in, and the diversity of the people within it. Created and presented by disabled adults. Specifically trained to contribute to the social and emotional education of young people, our Presenters deliver the message ‘we may look different on the outside, but we are all the same on the inside’. We are looking to hire your venue, hopefully for a discounted cost to host our event. In return we will advertise the venue on our website and twitter feed. The Rotherham advertiser and Sheffield star will be covering the event also. Could you please let me know if this is something you would be able to accommodate? And at what cost. We anticipate over 300 people in attendance and hope to use your bar which will obviously generate a large profit for your business. I look forward to your reply.
