I am planning on knocking down the wall between my kitchen and dining room and need confirmation that it is not a load bearing wall. Having lifted the floorboards in the bedroom above I can see that the wall in question runs parallel with the joists and the top of the brick work is visible. The wall to be knocked down is approx. 6 feet long. Thanks
