My mother had a stroke about 18 months ago and at present is resident at Stanley House Derby. She has recovered very well and she has all her faculties but is very frail physically and is finding life there very frustrating. My brother and I both live overseas and we have sold the family home in the meantime upon instruction of our mother. We'd like to find a more independent set up where there is daily care around the clock should it be needed. At this point we are looking only to rent property for assisted living in the Duffield or Darley Abbey area. Thank you for your kind attention, Victoria Bailes
