We have sold our house and are looking to move into a House boat (wide beam or dutchbarn type), but also are concidering obtaining the hull (if that is what it is called), getting it cleaned up and fitted out for residentail use which we can live in. What I need is a ball park figure and time scale to compare the difference of buying one already done up or starting a fresh. Any help you can give on this matter would be most appreated.
