I have a Hitachi 50" Smart LED tv. Used very little, mainly as a computer display for a room on occasion. Rarely used for more than an hour at a time. It was purchased 30 months ago. Turned on today, got a popping sound and slight burning smell. Have turned it on again since and power light comes on, press standby on remote and power light changes from red to blue as normal but no display, Have tried HDMI, VGA and USB input but no display, Remote control will power it off and on but no display. Argos have said I need a TV engineers report that says it is a manufacturing fault before they will replace it. Need a TV engineer in Blandford who can look at this.
