I have a damaged nail on my large toe - it has a thick wooden appearance. I have been on medication through the doctors over the years and on two occasions had the toe nail removed, but the nail grows back and remains damaged. I have recently had a nail scrapping and the after testing the doctors have determined it is not a fungal infection and advise that I seek assistance from a chiropodists or podiatrists
