I am currently suffering from depression and anxiety I have just commenced anti depressants. My Gp has given me a sick note for 4 weeks.I am a registered nurse. I need a letter from a doctor to the NMC nursing midwifery council, as I have a hearing with them on the 3rd of April in London and am not well enough to attend. The NMC require a short letter from a doctor stating that I am not well enough at the present time to attend due to my depression and anxiety.. I am trying to get the hearing postponed until I feel well enough to attend. I am willing to pay for the letter and service. I have just commenced anti depressants which are Mirtazapine. My own GP has refused to provide me with the letter stating that the sick note should be sufficient evidence for the NMC.The NMC are insisting that they require a letter highlighting the above. I am looking for a quote from you of the cost of this service if you provide it.
