I recently sustained a knee injury. My dog ran into me running at speed and knocked me from my feet. My GP thinks it is a torn ligament and I await an MRI scan. The knee swelled immediately and days later severe bruising occurred. Some three weeks later the bruising has just about gone but the knee is still swollen. It is painful and I have limited mobility particularly when flexing the knee.
