We are in process of buying a converted barn and have discovered that it has been underpinned and has no paperwork . Would a structural engineers report help ? Also the roof has been built over the old roof and as the ceilings are vaulted it is impossible to see the state of the old roof. it was apparently lifted by 9 inches. any feedback would be appreciated
