I have an old capped gas pipe next to a non-existent fireplace which I need removed. I need it confirmed by a gas safe person that it isn't connected (a British Gas engineer said he thinks it is disconnected when he visited for something else). Having works done anyway so confirmation only is fine, or if reasonably priced, removal would be preferred.
