I am 65 years of age and have been living in private rental accommodation for 15 years, but now my landlord has sold the property and I am going to be evicted on December12th. I am having great difficulty getting alternate accommodation, I am also registered with Southend council, but no luck so far. As for private rental as I retired from work 2 months ago, most private rental only wants working tenants or provide a guarantor, which I am unable to do. Ideally I would like to get into a retirement complex, I have health issues including COPD which can worsen in the winter months. But overall I am fairly healthy and am active, but would like to apply for sheltered accommodation if there are any available from the selected companies advertised on this site. Thank you
