Advice about an allegation of gross misconduct that could result ultimately in dismissal from my occupation as a social worker. I have the final investigation hearing on the 10th November and am currently not in a union. I am being accused of breaching the disciplinary standards of my employer which states that I must not be seriously negligent when performing my duties. I am also being accused of breaching my employer's code of conduct that states I must give the highest standards of care to service users.
