I plan to upgrade and refurbish an existing property (for my main residence) which might require remedial works for structural cracks as well. The building is on a large plot of land and would benefit from some creative thinking to utilise the space to provide privacy and improved the facade. The current building has two reception rooms, kitchen, bathroom and utility on the ground floor and four bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor. The building requires modernising and hence provides an opportunity to improve upon the space efficiency. I would request an idea of the time frame and the likely costs involved appreciating that these would be in ball-park terms as the details I have provided are rather sketchy.
