I have bought a prom dress, however, it is too long so I need it shortened and it is too big around the waist so I need it taken in slightly. There is an opening in the back, the bottom of which is around the waist, and that's where I need it taken in.

It's impossible to give a quote for the work to be undertaken without seeing how the dress is made and what material is left inside. The best option is to bring it in to the shop (with your shoes and any specific bra you intend wearing with it and we'll go from there.
