I have been suffering with silent reflux for 3 years now, I have changed my diet completely, been on different medication, tried so many different ideas on the internet, had cameras up my nose and cried far too often about the constant bile in the back of my throat, the lump that makes it feel like I cannot breath properly, the constant sore throat and the sound of my voice breaking. This is after the 2 years of arguing with the doctors that it was not my asthma causing the breathing issue and I did not need to be on stronger and stronger steroids etc! I get days where it hurts so much that I just don't want to eat which is completely the wrong thing to do but I so badly would like some help, direction, possible cure. I am worried about ending up with scarring from the acid in my throat that may cause problems later in life etc. I miss being able to drink a cup of tea made with proper milk or the days when I did not have to panic about eating out in case there was nothing I could eat without suffering for the next week (I can feel tears in my eyes as I write this) I need guidance, help, anything that could make a difference please.
