my mother has been diagnosed with vascular dementia she was living in dunfermiline with my mentally disabled brother he ended up in hospital , I live in surrey with my husband and two disabled sonsanther son and grand son could not take her home with me so arranaged respite care planning to return when sorted out care for my boys .while there she got very angry with one off the care staff and wastaken to qQueen Margaret hospital , where she was diagnosed with vascular dimensia, the Dr said she needs 24 hr dementia care . I s atpresent in discharge ward awaiting social worker to be assigned, has savings so will have to self fund.my brother is out off hospital and at her house with supported living . I am trying to arrange care home either in scotland , dunfermiline or near my home in surrey woking. Need to know costs .she has a pace maker and sufers from lupus needs only dementia careNot nursing care .she is 82
