Hi, I'm looking for a quote to transport a sailing yacht that I'm considering purchasing from Emsworth, Hampshire to Burry Port, Carmarthenshire, South Wales. The boat details are: Make/model: Super Seal 26 Year: 1980 LOA: 26ft / 7.92m Beam: 9ft 3in / 2.82m Displacement: approx. 5,000lb / 2,268kg Keel: Lifting keel Minimum draught: approx. 1ft 3in / 0.38m Engine: Inboard diesel with shaft drive and folding propeller Trailer: No trailer is included with the boat The mast would need to be lowered for transport. Could you please provide a quote for collection from Emsworth and delivery to Burry Port? Could you also let me know: 1. Whether you can transport the boat using your own trailer. 2. Whether loading and unloading are included in your quote, or whether these would need to be arranged separately with the boatyards. 3. Whether you are able to coordinate directly with the boatyard at each end for collection/loading and delivery/unloading. 4. Whether you would require the owner or myself to be present at collection or delivery. 5. Whether you can arrange mast lowering/stepping if required, or whether this should be arranged separately with the yards. 6. If possible, could you give me a price for: a) Transport and delivery to the receiving yard/hardstanding at Burry Port. b) Transport including unloading/launching at Burry Port. The purchase is currently being decided, so at this stage I'm looking for a reasonably accurate transport cost before committing to the boat.
