  Computer Repair Man Limited, posted on Thursday 28 May 2026 Hi Rose Thank you for your reply. We operate on a free collect and return basis, there isn't a shop you can visit. We will collect your laptop, diagnose the issue and provide a quotation for repair. If we can't fix it, there will not be any charge for looking at the device. If we can repair it and you do not go ahead with the repair, we charge £50+VAT as a diagnostics fee for our time spent on determining the fault and the remedy required. We only do this because some customers only want to know what is wrong so that they can fix it themselves. We don't charge this if you go ahead with the repair, which most customers will do.
