Looking for a Selkirk-based photographer to film tartan weaving at the Andrew Elliot Mill. Hoping to capture the weaving process itself: the movement of the threads, the atmosphere of the mill, the loom in operation, and the craftsmanship involved in producing the cloth. One of the challenges has been that the looms and machinery can be somewhat temperamental, which makes it difficult to schedule photography far in advance. As a result, I am looking for someone local who can get to the mill at short notice when the looms are operational.
