I have been struggling with acne (that I think was hormonal),dehydrated/oily skin and sensitivity/redness for a few months. I've spent the last few months researching and trying different skincare products and can't seem to find a routine that works for me. I'm on a duac prescription from my GP for the cheek acne which seems to be helping to calm it down, but I'm still stuck on what cleanser/moisturiser/serums to use to help my dehydrated skin as everything seems to either irritate me, not feel moisturising enough, feel too moisturising or cause whiteheads on my forehead/nose. I've spent at least £300 on skincare in the last 3 months, most of which I've been scared away from after using once due to apps and people telling me its comedogenic or has too many oils. I'm a university student on a budget so this is not ideal and I would really benefit from having a professional look at my skin (on face) and give me advice on what my skin type is and what type of products (especially gel vs cream moisturisers) I should be using for healthy skin, and help me build a weekly routine to keep it clear, smooth, calm and not red.
