Hello, I have a VW Jetta Auto DSG 7 (2012) that is experiencing some persistent problems. The DPF filter appears to be clogged, and I’m noticing a significant drop in performance. Alongside this, I'm having issues with the DSG gearbox — sometimes the gears unexpectedly drop from 7th to 6th or 5th even while driving at higher speeds (around 70mph), and at other times the gearbox gets stuck in 7th gear at lower speeds (30–40mph), causing the engine to shudder. Could you let me know if a carbon clean service might help with the DPF clogging? If so, I'd appreciate a quote for this service. Additionally, any advice or potential solutions you could provide regarding the gearbox issue would be really helpful.
