Closed Auto Electricians ford smax electrical fault

I have a 2008 ford smax 2 litre turbo diesel which will not start due to an electrical issue. Sometimes it turns over but it feels like the imbollizer is still on, other times it comes up with some engine warning messages. The RAC were called but could not start it.
