Closed Delta Binoculars need rescuing

Delta 10 x 42 Binoculars right-hand retractable eyepiece broken.
The plastic inner sleeve has lost a tab, and the tube is no longer fixed.
My partner has had these for 20+years, any chance of a repair ?
