I am moving out of flat in area in next 28 days. I think other residents of flat who are in right to manage ( along with myself) may wish to charge me for a last minute renovation of hallway and recarpeting.
I have not been sent a notice of intention through the mail, which i think may be required ? which would then give me 28 days to reply. The chairperson of the rights to manage has sent me an email recently saying they intend to serve a section 20 notice, as well as some carpet samples being left outside my door, but no official written letters.
If they do try to charge me at last minute as they know im moving out soon, i may require a small job, as i dont think they have the required paperwork to demand payment from me.
