I have a 2002 Honda CRV I VTEC SE Sport which had done around 17600. Two weeks ago I was in a queue of traffic on the coast road in Southport and stopped at the lights. I heard a noise from under the bonnet and the car stopped and would not start. The breakdown service brought the car home and left it outside my house in Hightown. Prior to it stopping over the previous few weeks there had been an off and on whirling noise from the engine when i was reving up. Is this something you could fix to get the car going again or do you think it maybe past redemption. Many thanks Chris
