Are you wanting your book to be edited/typeset/proofread as part of the publishing process? If so, please state: a. the number of words of the final draft b. the envisaged end product - size, full or part colour, no. of copies to be printed c. the production schedule, with the various deadlines d. how you envisage marketing and selling the publication? 2. Do you need a graphic designer to design the cover? 3. Are you looking for someone who would project manage the various aspects of the project, from editing through to final publication? This would involve them commissioning others. Or will the work be restricted to particular tasks? 4. How do you envisage the book being published e.g. using Amazon/another self-publishing package or through an independent printing company? This has an impact on how the book is promoted. 5. Should printing costs be included? 6. Do you have a fixed budget or is there flexibility?
