Closed Transmission and rear end Refresh

Hi, I'm looking to do a transmission refresh for a GM 4L60E. The transmission is in 1995 Chevrolet Astro van, there is no documentation that anything had been done to it over the years and i'm planning to tow a trailer this summer to Europe so would be nice to have everything in working order. The rear end would need to be looked at at the same time as there seems to be a pinion seal failure and would benefit for a refresh too. How can I get an initial estimate on the work needed to be done and the price range that these jobs go for? Many thanks, Andrius
