Hello, I live in Minehead and seeking whole-of-market mortgage advice on behalf of my daughter (nearly 55) living & working in the Bournemouth/Poole area who will be a first-time buyer as she has always rented. She does not have a well-paid job, and has had her share of financial problems, but her share of a house I recently sold would enable her to put a deposit of over 30% on a £200K property near her. This price is typical of even quite modest well-presented properties in her part of the world. She would always have liked to owner-occupy, but having a family and renting kept this out of reach. She now lives alone, with no responsibilities, and this sum of money could at last give her a chance.
Any advice would be very welcome!
