We would need a structural engineer to confirm whether a wall between our box room and living room in a 1897 Victorian tenement building can be reopened at former door marking (we know this has been done in the flat below and can see where our wall was previously opened to make a doorway). We would also like to know if the wall could be opened further horizontally to make a bar-style semi-open kitchen.
