I would like a home visit this week from someone who can tell me whether my foot pain is something that will heal on its own or if it needs further intervention. I've developed lateral foot pain (I think, the symptoms seem to fit the description I found online) after a long walk on Friday, and it doesn't seem to be healing as quickly as I would expect. The pain also seems to change location in that foot quite a lot. It's making it quite painful to walk even around my flat, and since I don't have a car it's difficult for me to get around, and my job next week requires me to spend a lot of time on my feet. I am currently resting it, icing it for 20 mins at frequent intervals, and keeping it as elevated as possible, (and I have ordered a compression sock off Amazon which is due to arrive tomorrow), but doing all that will only allow me to walk a few steps before the pain returns.

  • bodytonic clinic, posted on Wednesday 31 May 2023 Hi Joe, we have Osteopaths working from our Canada Water and Stratford London clinics who are fully trained and qualified to help treat the whole body, including pain in the feet. We offer 15 minute FREE Video Consultations with our practitioners, where you are able to discuss this pain with them and they will be able to advise on whether this is something they are able to assist with and how to proceed. In your first osteopathy appointment in clinic, your practitioner will do a full consultation, including medical history and examination, before going through to treatment. These appointments usually last 45 minutes and are £75. Follow up appointments are 30 minutes of treatment, for £60. You can read more about our Osteopathy treatment and book on our webpage via this link https://bodytonicclinic.co.uk/osteopath-london/ Unfortunately we do not currently offer home visits.
