I just got reported by tenant about a Smeg oven that the oven glass door was detached, as attached photo. The oven was installed with the hob model SE2640TD2 at the same time in 2016. I do not have the oven model number on hand. I hope you can figure (or assume) what oven model would be. The situation was, as quoted by the tenant, “oven door broken beyond repair, which is causing the glass to fall out whilst oven is in use. This is very dangerous for the tenant” The inventory checking in report for the tenancy showed the oven was in good order in the beginning. According to the Smeg quality assurance for a machine less than 10 years and your tech expertise, how would you comment about the situation of oven glass door fallen off” as natural tear or misuse? Please advise if the oven door can be repaired and if the spare parts are available by now. Please give a quote for an oven glass and labour cost if you can do the repair at your earliest availability in the next day or 2. Thank you so much. Chris Lo

Also we would need to know which piece of glass it is and the condition of the frame it sits in. we would need this information to give an accurate quotation or you can contact us and we can arrange for an engineer to call to the property if you like.
