Closed Candy washing machine stops at rinse part of washing cycle

My Candy washing machine (less than 3 years old) cannot get past the rinse part of a washing programme, which means it doesnt drain or spin. I have emptied the machine twice and just did a separate drain and spin and it was fine, then did a rinse, drain and spin cycle (with no water) that was fine. So attempted to do a short 14 min wash from beginning which meant there was water and it stops at rinse. There is an error code EO3. I have pulled the machine out but I haven't emptied the machine via the hose to check for blockages, although I did unscrew the valve at the bottom to let the water out and stuffed one of those long drain blockage wires up there and nothing came out. I'm guessing theres a blockage somewhere in the hose.
