Closed Blocked toilet

I have a partially blocked toilet. The water in the bowl is not backed up but a few minutes after flushing the water in the toilet bowl goes brown which indicates to me that there is a problem somewhere in the soil pipe. I live at 64, Norman Road, St. Leonards-on-Sea. Tim Francis
