The work to be quoted for, is an adjustment to the boundary line separating the rear yard of our house and that of a neighbour and then to submit the updated boundary map to the Land Registry.
The adjustment would be to use the current physical boundary between the rear of the two house, which follows the line of a small extension and a short length of fencing, as the boundary, which would move the recorded boundary about 0.6m inside of the boundary line, according to the deeds and Land Registry map.
The result of this would be that an area of our property approximately 0.6m x 5.0m that would ve ceded to our neighbour's property.
The house is a 2 bedroom terraced house, in Sale, Manchester and to the boundary would affect only exterior parts of the property.
At this time, we are looking for a rough idea of the cost and time required to complete the work, as redrawing the boundary might not be necessary, but may become so.
