My husband and myself want to write our wills. Basically we would want to leave everything to each other (house, possessions, savings etc).
However, my mum has given me £150k, and if I died before her I would want that money to go back to her.
Due to family circumstances there are a couple of more complicated things to plan for. There is a strong likelihood I will inherit money as only relative of various Uncle’s. If I pass before my husband I would want him to have everything, but then when he passes I would want to stipulate who inherits monies that have been left to me. Money that was my husbands solely and any property we’ve paid for I would be happy to go wherever my husband wants.
