Closed Kitchen cabinet door/ alteration and resurface

Hi I have a Howdebs, high gloss kitchen cabinet door that fits on an integrated dishwasher. It catches the cupboard unit at the bottom on one side by about 3mm. We cannot alter the other units as they are built in. Is it possible to either cut a section off the door then resurface the altered side ? If not, would it be possible to make a new door, the correct size and coat it in the same finish as the original one?
