Closed Fixing Sprinter van door mechanism

Hi, bit of a strange one but my Mercedes Benz Sprinter Van sliding side door is not opening from the inside. It opens from the outside, it locks fine but it won't open from the inside. Is this something you could help to fix? I asked regular garages but they suggested a bodywork specialist. Bonus if you can re programme the central locking system (after you hit unlock it relocks after 1 second... which is annoying). Thanks
