I am selling a property and the purchasers surveyor has queried work done by a previous owner which involved alterations inside the house which affected the rear chimney. A certificate from a chimney company was sufficient for my lenders when I bought the house but is not being accepted by the new purchasers. I am looking to get the chimney inspected and its structural integrity to be clarified.
